Obubu is coming back! The Berlin Tea Academy presents the Zen masters of authentic Japanese tea all the way from Wazuka, Japan. Are you wondering what exactly Matcha is? How to make a good cup of Sencha? Or what is so special about Hojicha?
Join our Meet-The-Farmer event on 1st of September! It is a free-style event (presented in English) with no set program –  you can simply come by to meet Matsu and Simona from Obubu Tea and learn more about their teas as well as tea related initiatives. And of course you will also be able to try some of their magnificent teas.

Japanese tea has grown in popularity all around the world. Not many know, however, how it is made or how enjoy it properly.
On 1st September we will hold a Japanese Tea Seminar that will provide an introduction to Japanese tea.
You will learn how Japanese tea is cultivated and produced as well as, what culture and traditions it has developed through time. The event will also introduce a few common ways to brew Japanese tea and you will be able to taste some specialTea directly from Japan.
Japanese Tea Seminar will be led by Matsu-san – a charismatic Japanese tea instructor and vice president of Obubu with more than 14 years of experience in Japanese tea; and Simona – a Japanese tea author and Obubu’s international department manager with 5 years of experience in Japanese tea.

Don’t miss a chance to try some beautiful Japanese teas and learn directly from the origin.
